TIARC's list of trained interpreters includes speakers of:
Arabic, Bosnian (Serbo-Croatian),Dinka,
Ethiopian,Farsi, French, Krahn,
Maimai,Nuir,
Pashto,Russian, Somali,
Spanish, Swahili, Urdu and
Vietnamese.
TIARC translates documents from foreign languages into English, and vica versa.
TIARC provides Notary Public services related to foreign documents, such as: certification of translator’s competence, certification of photocopied originals and other acknowledgments.

Tucson International Alliance of Refugee Communities, Inc. (TIARC) acts as the point of contact for community interpreters of refugee languages who have successfully completed training courses through Refugee Education Project of Pima College Adult Education in 2000.
TIARC continues to provide training for community interpreters utilizing the curriculum that was developed by instructors through the Community Interpreters Training Project. Training covers ethics, roles and standards for interpreters.
Anyone who is bilingual or multilingual and wants to learn how to provide professional interpretation and translation in medical, legal and social field is welcome to contact TIARC about training. |
