TIARC provides services that target special needs of refugee and immigrant women, such as:
- Women’s Health workshops include information on nutrition, food safety, doctor visits, immunizations, children’s and maternal health issues.
- Personal Safety workshops include information on domestic violence and child abuse, as well as referrals for help with these issues.
- Leadership Training that promotes and prepares refugee and immigrant women to become effective leaders and advocates for their family and community.
- Tutoring service for refugee and immigrant women who are pre-literate, or at the beginning level of English.
